Windows Error and Event Monitoring / Alerts

The event logs contain the most vital information for diagnosing applications and operating system failures, determining the health and status of a system, and verifying that the system and applications are operating properly. There are five types of event log entries that can appear in these logs: Information, Warning, Failure, Audit Success, and Audit Failure. Some entries are important, while others are not. For each client, we establish a set of alerts that let us respond to any Windows event errors that are critical to your ability to function.

Since every event entry has its own source, ID, severity, and description which can be used to detect possible incidents, Complete Care can be triggered to alert on every event property or attribute and take action when necessary. This can alert us to virus activity or spyware not found by conventional anti viral or spyware tools, hardware failing, software corruptions, unusual login times, system errors, or unusual resource loads on the system in question. In addition to alerts, we review the event log reports each month to find concerning activity that when looked at individually seem harmless, but when correlated with other activities over time could indicate possible problems. This allows us to understand your network more completely and respond to its specific needs.
